Privacy Policy

This policy describes the public Aikudo website, pilot-interest form and pending Aikudo Activity Notifications enrollment. Aikudo is operated by Spencer Sakata. Contact contact@aikudo.com about privacy or your signup.

What we collect and why

• First name and email address to record and respond to your pilot-interest request.
• An optional campus or community to understand where there is interest. We do not request a home address or precise location.
• Your confirmation that you are at least 18. This is self-attestation, not age or identity verification.
• If you choose SMS, your mobile number and consent evidence: the wording and version you agreed to, submission time and source page. Phone control remains unverified.
• A random browser receipt, saved as an essential cookie, that lets this browser manage its signup. A hash of that receipt is stored with the record.
• A short-lived, keyed hash derived from an IP address and time window to limit abuse. Hosting providers may also process IP addresses, browser details, requested URLs and operational logs to deliver and protect the site.

Do not enter passwords, payment information, identity documents, health information, or private reflections into the form.

SMS privacy and choices

Mobile numbers and messaging consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for advertising, marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process this information only as needed to provide the requested service, subject to appropriate restrictions.

Aikudo Activity Notifications is for transactional updates about activities you join or organize. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of signup or participation.

SMS is currently inactive. When it becomes available, reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. You can withdraw now by removing your signup and pending consent from the same browser and domain, or by emailing support. See the SMS Terms.

Who can process information

The founder and authorized service operators may access information to administer the pilot-interest list and handle support. The website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare hosting and database infrastructure. Support email uses the operator’s GoDaddy-provided email service, accessed through Microsoft Outlook. Twilio is the planned SMS delivery provider; this signup does not currently send your phone number to Twilio or send a text.

We do not publish the interest list or sell its personal information. We may disclose information when legally required, to address abuse or protect rights and safety. Information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States.

AI and the wider Aikudo ecosystem

This form does not send your contact details to an AI model for recommendations. Aikudo’s planned experience-learning features will need separate choices and controls. Signing up here does not authorize publication on Reeluser, sharing with Rate.college or C.E.O., or access to private Counselor.chat conversations. The existing private pilot is separate from this public interest list.

Security and retention

Contact fields and consent evidence are encrypted before being stored in the signup database. Encryption keys are held separately in protected server settings. Management cookies are restricted to secure connections and cannot be read by page scripts. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Interest records expire 180 days after submission and are excluded from active use after expiry. Expired records and short-lived abuse counters are removed during subsequent signup processing. Database backups and infrastructure logs may retain copies under the providers’ retention practices; this site does not promise immediate removal from all backups.

Access, correction and deletion

From the same browser and domain used to sign up, visit Pilot signup to see your saved status or remove your record and pending SMS consent from the active database. To correct information, remove the record and submit a new form. Clearing cookies or changing devices removes that browser’s ability to manage the old record, but does not delete it.

For access, correction, deletion, an opt-out for a number entered without your permission, or other privacy rights available where you live, email contact@aikudo.com. We may need to verify control of the relevant contact method before disclosing or changing information. Never email a driver’s license or other identity document. We may retain information where required by law or to address a specific dispute.

Cookies, analytics and children

Our application uses an essential signup-management cookie, not advertising cookies. GA4, Google Tag Manager and advertising pixels are not installed on this public site. Hosting and security services may use their own necessary cookies. The pilot-interest list is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If a child’s information was submitted, contact us to request removal.

Changes and questions

We will update the effective date when this policy changes and seek new consent where needed for a different use of information. Questions can be sent to contact@aikudo.com.
